Solo Mandolin
Solo mandolin is perfect for smaller, more intimate settings like private homes, small/medium sized churches and concert halls (c.300). The instrument has a captivating and haunting quality which is sure to set the mood perfectly.

Chris performs a wide range of classical music from 17th Century composers to the Contemporary era masterpieces, including flambouyant virtuosic Romantic Italian show stoppers. He can also perform folk music from various cultures such as Brazilian, Celtic & Eastern European; providing a full musical range of repertoire to choose from. Chris performs each work on period & modern mandolins, using the appropriate technique of the time period. As part of the concert, Chris shares the historical context of each piece as well as entertains & informs the audience about this great repertoire.

Please ask if there was something specific you were interested in. Chris is happy to play music from across his repertoire or to tailor towards a particular style; e.g. Italian or Mediterranean or Romantic or Baroque.
