Chris and Nate will be performing an evening concert of brazilian choro, jazz, newgrass, contemporary music and original compositions. Duo Acquavella/Jarrell is a unique mandolin & guitar duo that combines Chris' classical training with Nate's jazz experience, providing an exciting sound scape of repertoire. Concert will include special quests Erdis Maxhelaku (cello, La Jolla Symphony) and Jeremy Kurtz (principal bassist, San Diego Symphony). This concert will feature several compositional premiers. This concert will have all the "fireworks" that Duo Acquavella/Jarrell & guests can offer. They will be performing a selection of styles including brazilian choro, jazz, newgrass, contemporary music and original compositions written by them. Duo Acquavella/Jarrell will be joined on stage by special guests Erdis Mexhelaku (cellist, La Jolla Symphony), Jeremy Kurtz (principal bass, San Diego Symphony) and a jazz rhythm section.
